About Me!

My siblings and I, Christmas 2010
My mother recognized at an early age that I enjoyed entertaining people.  So, at the age of two I was signed up for ballet. I continued to dance for the next 17 years and learned many valuable lessons about hard work and discipline. I believe that it was during these years I learned to never give up and give my best at whatever I do.

Growing up I realized that I wanted to work in an industry where I would be able utilize the skills I have aquired. When I started taking journalism classes, I quickly realized that this is what I wanted to do.

Athletics has always been a big part of my life, growing up with two older brothers I was always at their games. With a big family who are all die-hard Boston fans, it was hard not to love sports. Playing soccer and tennis was a way for me to perform, but also taught me how to be part of a team.

I am very passionate about cancer research and how it affects people's lives. Like many people, cancer has effected me personally. I just participated in my third Relay for life, where I was the top fundraiser for the second year in a row. Working with charity and helping people is something that I will continue to do for the rest of my life.
